San Antonians are crazy about their fideo loco and there are so many different ways to make it. Most of us make it just like grandma or our beautiful moms taught us. There isn't  a week that I personally  don't make fideo loco for my family. According to my husband I make the best, but I'm not allowed to join the competition.

Fideo Loco has been feeding families since 1910 with the famous bright yellow box from Q and Q Pasta. Moms could make a large sopa of fideo while adding ground beef, frijoles, chicken, corn the list goes on. Only paying now a whopping $0.33 cents per box! In my opinion, that's the best $o.25 cents I've ever spent.
While my youngest nephew Ethan was being bullied in elementary school and neither the school or the bullies parent was wanting to do anything, I decided to take a stand on my own. We as a family worked too hard to teach them right from wrong for someone else's non existence as a parent tear my nephew down in the most crucial years of his childhood.

As an adult, I myself have been a subject of bullying but rose above it and showed them they weren't going to affect me. The bullying, the bullies, vermicelli, carne picada, frijoles etc, all that thrown into a bowl - The Fideo Loco Festival & Cook-Off was born. This year we will have Teams competing against each other for who makes the best Fideo Loco and your all invited. The teams are made up of San Antonio Locos, right here in the heart of the Fideo craze!  Join us in sampling different sopas de Fideo Loco as we also promote anti-bullying and cyber bullying. Gather a cook-off team of 4-6 or register as an individual, per our city of San Antonio, everything must be prepared fresh onsite. We have received a tremendous amount of interest in our festival, we are looking forward to having you. We are a Bully Free Zone!
